Red diesel

Mr. Johan Van Overtveldt has decided that, until further notice, customs will no longer carry out any checks on red diesel for British yachts mooring in a Belgian port.
This is very good news to learn that our British friends are welcome again in our coastal yacht harbours.
But what about the Belgian yachts that in UK can not but refuel red diesel and pay the VAT?
The Flamish Federation WWSV proposes a simple solution to the Government, ie making it mandatory to register every refueling in the UK in the logbook with the invoice details - invoice number and date, invoiced amount with VAT, fueled amount of red diesel and stand hour counter of the engine.
And if this is not enough, one can also demand to keep a copy of the invoice for eg 3 years on board. Simple and a conclusive solution.. or not?
